Pará
We are a couple from Pará with one child (born in 2018). We live in a peri-urban area, inherited from grandparents, in a place with a great diversity of fruit trees and other Amazon food plants, mainly for self-consumption but also for sale. We have poultry, one pig and fish farms, a composting chamber, rainwater harvesting, ecological toilets and an oven and wood stove.
In addition to the farm work, we also organize and make weekly food deliveries from an agro-ecological network that involves small farmers and local consumers.
Our small house has a mezzanine available for a simple but comfortable accommodation. Welcome to our Amazônia.

Noel and family are lovely beings, thank you very much for everything.
And also meeting Lenir (another person involved in agroforesty) was such an extraordinary experience. The sites are beatiful and the people more.

On a passés un très bon moment de partage avec nos hôtes.
Malgré le fait que ça ne les arrangaient pas vraiment de nous accueillir a ce moment, ils ont fais preuvent d'attention, de respect et nous on enseignés divers compétences et connaissances passionnants (culture des plantes et culture locale et surtout historiques)
Leurs projet et démarches sont inspirantes et devraient être partagé sans modération par tout le monde.

My experience at Noel’s sitío was an excellent introduction to WWOOF. I gained valuable knowledge about açaí and the unique cuisine of Belém and Pará.
