As I said on other description box, we are a 4.4 hectars rural area very near a urban area. We are actually 40 minutes from downtown Sao Paulo where you can go by bus and train. Me and my husband are retired and rent the place mainly to churches- specially protestant churches. They come to spend the weekend with family or church friends. They sing, pray, play, swim, voley, soccer,etc., they stay for the weekend and go back home usually on sunday afternoon. We also receive not so often, schools for eco day in the farm. I feel this activity can improve and grow. Well, if you have any doubt, write. I will be more than glad to anwer all your questions, improve my profile and receive you anytime soon.
One more relevant detail: we have three houses, three kitchens. All separeted to receive wwoofers comfortably. Obviously, most of out place are dedicated to our weekend hosts but part of these accomodations will be dedicated to you acording to availability and wwoofer's demand.
Organic methods: We are only me (79) and my husband (81) and we grow a small vegetable garden only for ourselves and we need a helping hand with that too. We are also opened to new ideas and new initiatives. You are more than welcome with your talent and ideas. Hope to see you soon.
Certifications: Not certified because it´s a small production for personal consuption.
Current projects: At the moment we have some chickens (25), many flowers, vegetable garden for our own consuption, one honey comb and a lot of medicinal herbs. But our main activity as I said on another part of my profile, is to receive families and churches to spend the weekend in midst of nature. And we would like to open up and grow towards receiving basic and high schools during week days in what we visualize as Eco Day in the Farm. It was wonderful to volunteer with Clarice and her husband in Colina das Flores. I only spent 10 days because I had to go back to work, but I have little time to learn a lot from Clarice, her Marim and her son Carlos. In reality I don't earn only knowledge, but just a new group of friends. I feel comfortable as I am a part of the family.

Deco’s family is very welcoming, the place is great and in the middle of the nature in a small village.
They make you feel at home. It was an amazing experience.

A good place closer to Sao Paulo.
Deco is a great host. Most friendly and helpful. It was interesting to talk to him.
His parents only speak portugues, but it is a good oportunity to improve your language.

Não tenho dificuldade nenhuma em avaliar, pois se eu fosse resumir o comentário eu diria: Tudo perfeito! Mas não quero resumir, a minha estadia em Colina das Flores não foi resumida, foi curta, mas extremamente intensa! As pessoas, o lugar, a acomodação, tudo foi simplesmente perfeito. A Dna Clarice, seu filho Deco, sua filha Célia, serão pessoas que ficarão em meu coração! Mesmo! Superaram, em tudo, todas as minhas expectativas. Fui muito bem tratada, me senti valorizada, trabalhamos em harmonia e tudo o que fiz foi de coração, pois foi o que senti que recebi e achei que poderia retribuir. O lugar está em constante melhoramento, pelo que percebi, e eles se esforçam muito para efetivar as melhorias necessárias.
