Terramana es más que solo un proyecto agroforestal. Es un lugar poético, mágico y atemporal. Las diversas actividades diarias, entre la siembra, cosecha y preparación de los alimentos, reescriben el ritmo acelerado de la vida moderna. Se agradece todos los días por los bellos alimentos sobre la mesa. Conectas con la alimentación, la impresionante naturaleza del cerrado, el forró y con muchas personas espectaculares, conscientes y divertidas. Tao es una increíble persona que siempre se asegurará que te sientas bien con tu experiencia y aclara cualquier duda con mucha paciencia. Tiene muchos conocimientos sobre la implementación de sistemas agroforestales a nivel público, privado y social. Le admiro mucho por la real pasión que demuestra que tiene por la justicia ambiental y sobre todo por compartir e impactar en su comunidad y en el mundo. My time at Luiz's farm was nothing short of incredible. Luiz is such a kindhearted, patient, and thoughtful person who cares deeply about both the farm's mission and his volunteers' experience. The work on the farm is varied and rewarding. My favorite moments were all the meals shared together and the occasional bonfires. I can't recommend this farm and region of Brazil enough -- so grateful that this was my first WWOOFing experience, and I can't wait to return.

My stay at MESA (my first WWOOF experience) was beyond every expectation and I had a truly wonderful time there. Eider and his daughter Rafaela are the most welcoming, kind, warm, and lovely hosts you can wish for. The level of care was exceptional and the learnings and education high during the entire stay. It was a truly inspiring week for me, learning from and with the nature, the co-workers, farming neighbors and everyone else involved in building the Museu. The accommodation was perfect, which was only surpassed by all the amazing meals we cooked and ate together which many times came from veggies and fruits grown just a few meters away. I lacked absolutely nothing! I can only highly recommend this experience and am already now sure to come back again very soon. Thanks once again for everything 🫶

We've had a very pleasant stay at Guilherme and Erica's place. The location is very beautiful and peaceful. We were able to plant various seedlings and plants. Since it was a very busy week for Erica and Guilherme we were autonomous, which allowed us to experiment for ourselves and organized like we wanted.

Português embeixa. Guxa, the owner of the farm, is a truly beautiful person. Her project is based on strong, meaningful principles—she is always questioning how we can use what we already have, and what nature brings to us. I love that. She is very open to learning from others, and she also loves to teach. I arrived hoping to learn about the cacao process and how to make chocolate, and I ended up learning so much more. I learned about living in harmony with nature—using as much as possible from what we already have, and trying to waste as little as possible. Guxa is still at the beginning of her project, and it feels like she is still figuring many things out. There were moments when I felt a bit “lost” and didn’t fully understand what to do. That said, I truly recommend coming to her beautiful place, helping with her project, and getting to know Guxa. I felt a very special connection with her—she is someone it’s hard not to connect with. The waterfall is amazing, the house is very clean and organized, and it’s a lovely place to stay. The other people working on the farm are also really kind and wonderful. Thank you so much, Guxa.
